March 2017 Update

It's been an extremely busy month for the training team at Ifast. We have delivered a large number of Fire Warden & Fire Safety Awareness training courses all over the UK.

In addition we have delivered two fire extinguisher maintenance courses which were both fully booked. One was a scheduled course and the other was a for a company who had an urgent need to train a number of their staff. Delegates had a broad range of skill levels in other disciplines but most with very little experience in fire extinguisher servicing.

For those already in possession of a recognised qualification we had delegates attending a scheduled Refresher fire extinguisher maintenance course. Those delegates have been brought up to date with the latest changes in current codes of practice and other subjects were covered to provide the refresher training. Current codes of practice make reference that a refresher course has to be taken within three years of their original qualification or the last refresher course attended.

Our fire risk assessors were kept very busy this month also. We visited the smaller and mid size companies to large schools. They will or will be receiving a detailed report with our findings and recommendations where appropriate.
