Is it time your company reviewed its fire risk assessment?
Apart from being a legal requirement it does help safeguard businesses from having to try and recover from the financial loss or even the tragedy of a fire.
A fire risk assessment is not a ‘one off’ and needs to be reviewed on a regular basis. It may be that you have undergone a change in building design or a change of work activity.
Who Needs A Fire Risk Assessment?
If you hire five or more people, you need to keep a written record of the fire risk assessment. It is a legal requirement. Less than five, you still need to carry out a fire risk assessment and it is still good practice to have a written record of it.
Failure to carry out a fire risk assessment can lead to a substantial fine being imposed on individuals within the company.
What Can Ifast Offer?
We will attend your site and liaise with your nominated person which will then be followed by an in depth site survey by a qualified fire risk assessor.
We will then complete and forward the fire risk assessment including any findings and subsequent recommendations. We will then be able to assist in providing a solution for any work arising.
No one wants a serious fire in the workplace. A fire risk assessment is a way of minimizing the chances of this happening and providing a safer workplace for all staff, customers and visitors.
